The largest producer of carpets in Turkmenistan The production complex of Abadan Haly Open Joint Stock Company, which opened in 2016, is the largest manufacturer of carpets in Turkmenistan. The production complex, occupying a total area of 14.5 hectares, is located in the Abadan district of Turkmen capital Ashgabat hectares. The factory with more than 700 employees has the capacity to produce 3 million square meters of carpets and carpet products a year. Abadan Haly complex is considered as a large-scale project which laid the foundation of a new trend in Turkmen light industry that includes such significant vectors as effective use of local raw materials, supply of domestic market with high demand products which are not inferior in quality and design to foreign competitors and providing the industry with access to overseas markets.
