Chartek 1709 — Epoxy Fire Protection Coating

Chartek 1709 is a high-performance epoxy intumescent fire protection coating. It is a thick-film, solvent-free, two-component material providing excellent mechanical strength, corrosion resistance, and fire protection performance.

The coating has been tested by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) in accordance with ANSI/UL 1709 and is Exterior Listed. It has also been tested by FM Approvals to ASTM E1529-06.
Certified by Lloyd’s Register (LR) to ISO 834-3 and BS 476 Parts 2 and 21, based on the hydrocarbon fire time–temperature curve.
