Grooved Rising Stem Resilient Seated Gate Valve
Product Overview
The Grooved Rising Stem Resilient Seated Gate Valve adopts an advanced steel pipe connection method, also known as a clamp connection, offering convenient installation in pipeline systems.
For sprinkler systems, smaller pipes may use grooved fittings, threaded connections, or flanged connections. For pipes with a diameter of 65 mm or greater, segmented connections using flanges or grooved fittings are required.
Product Features
1. Self-Sealing Bonnet — a self-sealing structure is employed between the bonnet and valve body. Within the allowable pressure range, higher fluid pressure results in tighter sealing.
2. Upper Stem Sealing — O-ring seals between the stem and bonnet provide tighter sealing and significantly reduced friction compared with traditional gland packing. In the fully open position, the design incorporates a protective locking arrangement that helps prevent the stem from being ejected during servicing.
3. Compact and Lightweight Design — the streamlined structure reduces the overall working height by more than 60–300 mm compared with traditional gate valves, saving installation space. The valve is approximately 20–30% lighter.
4. Fully Encapsulated Disc — the ductile iron disc core is fully encapsulated using high-performance rubber and advanced vulcanization technology, ensuring reliable bonding, precise geometry, sealing elasticity, and isolation from the fluid.
5. Integral Stem Nut — the bronze stem nut and ductile iron core are permanently joined into a single unit through a specialized process, preventing loosening and potential valve control failure.
6. Full-Bore Design — the bottom of the valve features a full-bore configuration, equivalent to a straight section of pipe, minimizing debris accumulation and ensuring unobstructed fluid flow.
7. Corrosion-Resistant Internals — the valve body interior is coated with epoxy resin, while the disc is fully rubber-encapsulated. This construction helps prevent rust-colored water and corrosion, making the valve suitable for potable water systems, food processing, and pharmaceutical applications.
