Polyethylene (PE)
Polyethylene (PE) supplied by Turkmengas State Concern is a lightweight and versatile synthetic resin produced by the polymerization of ethylene. It is the most widely used plastic in the world, applied in products ranging from food packaging films and shopping bags to detergent bottles and automotive fuel tanks. PE can also be processed into synthetic fibers or modified to exhibit rubber-like elastic properties.
Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE) is highly flexible and has excellent flow properties, making it ideal for plastic film applications such as shopping bags and packaging films. It has high ductility but relatively low tensile strength, which allows it to stretch under load.
High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) is a strong, high-density, and moderately rigid plastic with a highly crystalline structure. It is commonly used in milk containers, detergent bottles, garbage bins, and cutting boards.
