The Insured is an individual or legal entity that is a party to the insurance contract, or is recognized as such under the legislation of Turkmenistan.
They pay the insurance premium and have an insurable interest in protecting the object of insurance.

Under the Agreement concluded according to these Rules, the object of insurance may include property interests of:
a) persons related to the ownership, use, or disposal of the aircraft, and having a legal or contractual interest in its preservation. In this case, the insurance covers casco risks specified in Section IV “Aircraft Casco Insurance (Aircraft and Helicopters)” of these Rules;
b) the operator, carrier, or owner of the aircraft, or another person who may be held legally liable under civil law for damages caused during aircraft operation or air transportation — including:

• damage to property,

• harm to the life or health of third parties or passengers,

• loss, shortage, or damage of baggage, cargo, or mail.

Accordingly, insurance may cover the risks described in:

• Section V – Third Party Liability Insurance

• Section VI – Civil Liability Insurance to Passengers (for injury or death)

• Section VII – Passenger Liability Insurance (for baggage loss or damage)

• Section VIII – Cargo and Mail Liability Insurance
