Insured – A capable individual or legal entity that is a party to the insurance contract or is recognized as such in accordance with the legislation of Turkmenistan, pays an insurance premium, and has an insurable interest in the insured object.

Insured Person – An individual or legal entity whose property interests are insured under the insurance contract.

Object of Insurance – The personal interests of the Insured Person in compensating for harm to life or health caused by sudden illness or accidents occurring during their stay in the territory of Turkmenistan, by reimbursing costs of medical assistance.

Insured Event – Infliction of harm to health requiring emergency or urgent medical care for the Insured Person due to sudden illness or accident, as well as death of the Insured Person as a result of such an event, occurring during the validity of the insurance contract.

Scope of Coverage – Insured events are sudden illnesses or accidents occurring during the stay of the Insured Person in Turkmenistan during the period of validity of the insurance contract. Insurance for sudden illnesses and accidents provides payments for medically necessary services, including the provision of emergency and urgent medical care.
